usually i’m all over the minimal style. i don’t know about you, but that shit wears me down. plus a lot of my poet peers are banging out some serious gems. if i’m a copycat hack, so be it. i’m a copycat hack.
also dusted off the old organ and started recording again. i had a dream for an amplified stapler.

a little bit behind due to illness. got the remaining 25 chapbooks trimmed and stapled. just need to do the covers and number em. very excited. the writing in this thing will rule. hopefully i get em done this weekend.

i just googled harlan ellison. i’m not sure why, but i always imagined harlan ellison would look like the lead singer of thin lizzy. man, was i wrong.
airforce joyride
pretty soon i’ll have one big website with everything organized. no more blogs. just one general area. the umbrella site will be called “airforce joyrides”. it will be very plain looking. i’m too lazy to learn code. i’m waiting the required 48hrs (minus nolte) so the hosting guys can hook me up. or so they say. i also shelled out the extra $7.95 (american) to “protect” the domain. which means it won’t get stolen and turned into a fetish sex site. if you were hoping i’d be making a fetish sex site, you should just google “fetish sex site”.spent the day catching various buses. went up to arlington heights to balich. bought a train whistle and a new notebook for $3.75 (american). caught another bus to the square and found “way more west” by ed dorn and “ooga-booga” by freddy seidel (which i read most of on the ride home. i’m going to face it out on my shelf.) i also found the cd that had all my old (bad, really bad) short stories. i’m turning them into prose poems. i’m jumping on the prose poem wagon.lastly, my wife just bought a new $700.00 camera. it is like christmas. she is happy so i am happy. she takes amazing photos using mostly toys that we’ve got lying around the house. check them out | hereget ready for the joyride. and peter berghoef’s chapbook.
chapbook update
banged out another 15 copies of pete’s chapbook early this morning. i have about 15 more to cut and staple. then i’ll sticker all the covers in one sitting. then i’ll send out the artist’s copies. then they’ll be available to you, the public. then the process starts all over again with bramhall’s and foley’s.
tomorrow, Balich 5 & 10 for fun, cheap shit. and laundry. because all my clothes smell like ass.
